Our Winter/Spring storms continue to funnel in through the Gulf of Alaska, piling up more snow across the Pacific NW but also, thanks to a gap in the high pressure, it managed to put half way decent new snow, some cold weather, and winds for most of the Sierras as well as Southern California. US Weekly Snow Forecast for North America: Ok so the Southwest US may have had the shortest winter ever (just kidding we still have a couple of months to go)…but while high pressure reasserts itself this week it does leave a window open in the Pacific NW…opening up the Cascades, parts of Northern California, and the Western/Central Rockies to some potential snowfall over the next week.
